Ethiopian Cross

A little history behind this necklace: Christianity was established in the Ethiopian highlands as early as the 4th century. For over 1600 years Christian Ethiopians have worn neck crosses as a symbol of faith. The cross was suspended around the neck by a cotton blue cord called a “mateb” which was received at baptism. Jewelry wise, the cross is the most prized personal possession and most valued to collectors of all highland selections.The crosses are usually named from the region that they originate.

My Ethiopian cross, is handcrafted from PMC, measures 3/4" long by 1" wide. The necklace is made from silver gray fresh water pearls and has a simple lobster closure. It is a symbol of Christianity in a rustic form.

Busy Bee Body

A little brass bee is sitting on some honeycomb and preserved in resin. The pendant measures 5/8" x 1". Yellow fresh water pearls, the color of honeycomb make the necklace along with brass beads and a handmade brass closure. Get ready for summer fun.

I LOVE YOU

This necklace says "I love you" in many languages. A 1.5" heart shaped pendant with the words I Love You stamped in many languages hangs from two brass chains measuring 33". There is a soldered connector with a little lock and key hanging from it.

Ready for Spring

This necklace was created for a special person I know who helps me with my shopping. There are no places to shop up here in Bend, so I met this gal at the Nordstrom in La Jolla when I was visiting Tiffany and she has turned out to be quite a find for me. I can call her up and tell her what I am looking for and she will find it and send it to me. It's amazing! She even delivered a little something that I got Tiffany right to her door! She is in Point of View if anyone is interested in using a personal shopper.

I used the new technique that I use in making my MemoryMarkers for the pendant. It is complimented with light blue nugget stones and different sizes and colors of green glass beads.

This was a fun piece to make and I especially liked doing it for my friend Kim.

St. Hubert, for Hunters

St. Hubert, the patron saint of archers, forest workers, hunting, huntsmen, metal workers and dogs. This is a vintage medal measuring 3/4". I have a collection of different medals that I have picked up along my journey and have decided to incorporate them in my jewelry. This one is very simple. It hangs from a dark brown cotton cord which I can make in 16, 18 or 20 inches long.

Hearts on Leather

A silver (PMC) heart is embellished with a small brass heart and black bead. The pendant measures approx. 1"x 1". A thin black cord with "S" sterling silver closure completes this necklace and can be made to the measurement needed.

Remember Paris

A rare old medal of the Eiffel Tower and The Arch of Triumph in Paris, measures 7/8" and made of brass, hangs from three different lengths and styles of brass chains. Three glass beads embellish the look. A charming necklace of a romantic place. 10.5" from neck to the end of the medal. Handmade closure clasp. One of a kind.

Create Happiness

A pewter heart, 1 1/4" long (with bail) hangs from a small silver disc chain. A cable sterling silver chain and leather cord make up the necklace that has a sterling silver "S" closure. Necklace measures 11" from the neck to the end of the heart. The pendant has a flower, vine and leaves on the front. On the back is inscribed "Some pursue happiness, others create it".

Do You Love Paris?

This brass necklace is for the romantics who love Paris. It is made up of three styles of brass chain. A small ball chain holds the Eiffel Tower, a small suitcase key and a French love medal. " I love you more today than yesterday, but not more than tomorrow" is inscribed on the medal.The necklace measures 16" from the neck to the end of the charms. There is an amber glass bead at the neck and a lock and key hang to one side of the necklace. It will remind you of the romantic visit you made there or the longing you have to visit there. A fun, casual piece to wear.

Sending You Love

A unique envelope charm envelope sealed with a heart, handcrafted from PMC. Charm measures 3/4" high and 1" wide. A perfect piece worn on a short chain or on a longer chain that is combined with other of your favorite pieces. Wear it alone to make it's own statement. Pricing will vary on whether you desire pendant with 36" 2.5mm sterling silver ball chain as shown, or pendant with nickel 2mm ball chain @ .50 per foot. Charm is also sold separately.
